Activating a Caregiver Navigator requires participation from your employer.
A Caregiver Navigator is an ianacare staff member who provides coaching, navigation, and concierge services in your caregiving journey. They provide help in many different ways. For example:
- What local services are available for your unique caregiving needs
- What employee benefits you may not be aware of for your care situation
- How to have a difficult conversation about caregiving with your care circle
You may sign up for a Navigator either through the ianacare native app on your mobile device, or through the ianacare web app on your laptop or desktop.
Once you sign up for a Caregiver Navigator, we will match a Navigator skilled for your care situation within 24 - 48 hours. Once you're matched, you may communicate with your Navigator via chat, phone or video conference. Navigators are usually available between 8am-8pm EST, Mon-Fri, and will work within a schedule and frequency that works for you.
