How do I change the role of a team member?

Only a caregiver, organizer or care recipient can change the role of a team member who has already joined the team. If you are the only user in a team, you need to invite another user in the role of a caregiver, organizer or care recipient before your role can be changed.

Please note

Once a care recipient has been invited to a team, you cannot change their role or un-invite them. Please contact us at help@ianacare.com

Web Application

  • Go to Manage Team from the top navigation bar
  • Remove the user from the team
    • Click on the "..." icon next to the user's name and then "Remove"
  • Invite the user with the new role

Mobile Native Applications (iOS and Android)

  • Go to Profile -> Team
  • Remove the user from the team
    • Click on "Edit" next to the role where the user is currently showing up
    • Click on "x" icon next to the user
  • Invite the user with the new role
