In ianacare, you can control what you get notified about and by what means. To access your notifications, tap on settings at the bottom right of the app and then choose notifications.
From there you can choose what types of notifications you receive. For example, every time a meal is requested, a supporter is added, or an update is posted.
You can also choose how you would like to be notified: Choose from any combination of push notifications (on by default), email, and text message.
Note: If you are on multiple teams, you will need to manage notifications for each team.
